The Ride Down (from Northern Wisconsin)
Kelley Country Creamery
This is an ice cream shop to visit! According to Good Morning America (2013) this is the “Best Ice Cream in America.” Watch ice cream in production at Kelley Country Creamery and savor your very own flavor. Or, sit on the front porch and watch the 65 Holstein cows on this 200-acre farmstead.
Bublitz’s Ale House
If you’re looking for a place to try some true Wisconsin brews, Bublitz’s Restaurant & Ale House is located in Lomira right off of Interstate 41. Did we mention they have beer? Did we mention they have A LOT of beer?!
Over 70 different kinds! If you’re planning on making this stop, make sure that you have a responsible driver.
Country Roads
Take the beautiful back roads down to West Bend. U.S. Highway 45 is known for it’s rolling hills, flowing fields and maybe a farm or two along the way.
Widmer’s Cheese Cellar
This third generation cheese cellar has been around since 1922, and if you want to feel like you’re going back in time, it is a must see! You can take a tour of the cellar, plus meet the master cheesemaker – Joe Widmer, Widmer’s Cheese Cellars.

Horicon Marsh Boat Tours
The largest freshwater cattail marsh in the United States, the Horicon Marsh, is right on the way to Husar’s House of Fine Diamonds! If you don’t want to pass by this adventurous opportunity be sure to sign up for the Horicon Marsh Boat Tours. Or if you’re in for a more simple stop, there are plenty of walking trails within the Horicon Marsh Wildlife Area.
Schultz’s Cheese Haus

Holy Hill
The Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, better known as Holy Hill, is a chapel perched at the top of a hill, but not just any hill. It’s the highest elevation point in Southeastern Wisconsin. This is a site worth seeing, especially during the fall season. You can visit the chapel, go to the top of the scenic tower, or walk the nature trails on the grounds. Holy Hill might also make for a romantic proposal spot. 
Cabela’s
This is the ultimate outdoors-man retail location. Since you’re probably shopping for her at Husar’s House of Fine Diamonds, you can shop for yourself too. Right?
Apple Works Winery
Stop to pick up a bottle of wine at, what used to be an old apple orchard, Apple Works Winery. Dry Red? Sweet White? Regardless, it will make a great pairing with the gift for your significant other.
