From my earliest memories, I’ve been immersed in the family business. Our father, a staunch advocate of hard work, never gave us an allowance. If we wanted spending money, we had to earn it by helping out at the store! After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1984, I officially joined the family venture.
Today, I travel the globe as the store’s primary diamond buyer, hand-selecting exquisite diamonds for our custom jewelry. I also spearhead our Promotional Products Company, PromotionPros.com.
The strong values my father instilled in me continue to shape my approach to business. We’re committed to surpassing customer expectations and nurturing meaningful relationships with our clients and community.
These values resonate beyond my professional life. I’ve proudly served as a Board Member and President of the West Bend Business Improvement District for 14 years, contributed to the National Ski Patrol for 50 years, and chaired the National Safety Team, culminating in my induction into the National Ski Patrol Hall of Fame in 2023. In my downtime, you’ll find me as a Ski Patroller in Park City, Utah, or spending cherished moments with my wife, Lisa, and our golden retrievers.
Growing up, my brother and I shared fond memories of working in the family store. I loved polishing silver and tying bows on gifts. It was always a fun experience. However, returning to the store as an adult after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh ignited a true passion for our family business. I fell in love with the captivating world of jewelry and cherished the loyal customers we’ve cultivated over the years.
The thrill of jewelry design begins with sourcing the finest diamonds and gemstones, culminating in the creation of a unique, meaningful piece of custom jewelry. As the designer for all of Husar’s creations, I’m involved in every step, ensuring each piece is a treasure to be cherished for a lifetime and passed down through generations. Designing one-of-a-kind jewelry that my customers proudly wear daily is incredibly rewarding. Hearing about the compliments they receive brings me immense joy.
Beyond work, I treasure moments with family and friends and seize every opportunity to give back to our community.
